The system requirements for running Password Vault Manager are: 800MHz processor or better; 512MB of RAM or more; 1024 x 768 screen resolution; 100+ MB of free disk space; any Windows edition from XP SP2 onward. The setup wizard that helps you install Password Vault Manager Free Edition allows you to pick one of three installation types: typical (installs the most common program features), custom (allows you to pick and choose the program features that will be installed), and complete (all program features are installed).

By default, Password Vault Manager Free Edition has a ribbon interface. As expected from a ribbon interface, the ribbon can be hidden out of sight. From the Options menu, the User Interface submenu, you can switch from the ribbon interface to a menu interface. From the same Options menu you can play with some other interface options: change the language, set it so the interface is always on top, pick a wait progress mode, and more.
